Most importantly, I am excited to see how they do in the big leagues. A mission is like spring training. You learn the skills and do them over and over again. When you go home, you see if you learned them well enough to keep doing them in the game of life.
Goodbyes are never too great for me, and this month it seemed like it was one big goodbye. As I put the pictures into place I thought about each one of these missionaries. They are very different from each other, and yet each holds a special place in my heart. Each contributed. Each grew. Each came to understand the atonement of Jesus Christ. I am excited to see what school brings for each of these Elders and Sisters.

I've started to let just a drop of excitement into my mind of Sister Montoya coming home! I believe she would stay another year if allowed!
