"Upon you my fellow servants..." D&C 13:1
The beginning statement of John the Baptist to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery when he conferred the Aaronic Priesthood upon them.
Dear Elder or Sister,
We are very excited to have the opportunity to serve with you during the next 1 ½ to 2 years of your life. It is a great opportunity to be called as a messenger of the Lord Jesus Christ. Your dedication to your charge allows you to be placed in the category of witness and disciple. John the Baptist, Peter, James, John, Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, Samuel Smith, and many others were witnesses and disciples of Jesus Christ. This website is designed to accompany the instructions you received in your call packet in an effort to make it easier to get ready for your mission and enter the mission field able to focus upon being the very best witness possible.
We look forward to seeing you soon!

Look at the lessons in Preach My Gospel, which are found in chapter 3, "Study and Teach" At the end of each lesson there is a full lesson plan with points. Memorizing these points will help you develop a foundation for teaching the lessons and put you ahead in your teaching game on the mission.
Lesson 1 page 42-43
Lesson 2 page 56-57
Lesson 3 page 68-69
There are also scriptures that accompany the lesson. Knowing where the scriptures are located and the general idea of the scripture will also be helpful in your teaching.

SUGGESTION: Sometimes missionaries have trouble sleeping. We do not want this to happen to you. Working hard all day and then not sleeping at night is a bad combination. To protect against this challenge prepare NOW by developing a routine that you start before going to bed at night. Include writing in your journal as part of that routine and of course, praying. Do the routine exact the same every night. When you get on your mission and do the routine it will subconsciously tell your brain it is time to go to sleep.
