There are people who I refer to in my mind as kitchen people. They are the salt of the earth, they love to serve, they can do just about anything, and it is their work which allows others to focus upon people instead of situations. You often see them at receptions working in the kitchen ~ that is why I refer to them in my mind as kitchen people. Our mission had a couple that fit that description ~ the Giguieres. (Actually our mission has several missionaries who fit that description)
When we came to the mission they were already seasoned. They had incredible stories of finding apartments at the drop of the hat, hauling furniture, beds and other necessities in their horse trailer, and hearing the Lord's confirmation before acting. I doubt many will know all the hours they've given in the service of the missionaries in the Arkansas Bentonville Mission. But that doesn't matter to them. They are those kind of people.
But we'd like to publicly say, "Thank you for all the time and effort you offered in behalf of so many, many missionaries."
